We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Business Development Manager with 5–6 years of proven success in driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and expanding business opportunities in the IT domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, digital transformation, cloud technologies, and staff augmentation services, coupled with excellent networking, LinkedIn lead generation, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in IT services, solutions, and staff augmentation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Generate qualified leads via LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and digital campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to prospective clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored IT solutions and staffing support.
Staff Augmentation & Resource Outsourcing
- Promote staff augmentation, dedicated team, and resource outsourcing services to global clients.
- Work with HR/recruitment teams to ensure timely deployment of skilled IT professionals.
- Build a pool of potential clients requiring contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent staffing solutions.
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic business planning and market expansion initiatives.
- Conduct industry research to align offerings with market demands (Cloud, AI/ML, SaaS, Cybersecurity, Staff Augmentation, etc.).
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, HR/recruitment, and project management teams.
- Provide insights to marketing teams for developing targeted campaigns and content.
- Mentor junior business development executives and support team growth.
Negotiation & Contracting
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and closure of deals with clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards during agreements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IT services & products (Cloud, SaaS, Infrastructure, ERP/CRM, Application Development, Cybersecurity, AI, Digital Transformation).
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets in IT business.
- Hands-on experience in staff augmentation and IT resource outsourcing.
- Expertise in LinkedIn lead generation, B2B prospecting, and social selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage with CXO-level executives and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in IT business development / IT sales / staff augmentation / account management.
- Strong network of industry contacts in IT domain is a plus.
- Experience in international markets (US, Europe, Middle East, APAC) is desirable.
